Job Description:

JOB DUTIES

• Assists with inspecting fire alarm components for the purpose of annual certification, evaluating condition, and identifying necessary repairs.

• Assists with inspecting elevators and their components for the purpose of annual certification, evaluating condition, and identifying necessary repairs.

• Assists with regular inspections of fire extinguishers to ensure proper functionality, appropriate placement, and compliance with fire and life safety codes.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

• Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interacts with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies.

• Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines.

• Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE

Required:

• No previous experience.

Preferred:

• 1 month to 6 months.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required:

• Understands and complies with all safety and risks issues associated with working with live electrical circuitry.
