Master's degree in History or American Civilization (with cross-listed courses in History).
or
Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in history.

Minimum Competencies

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other instructors, staff, administration and students.
• Ability to instruct students while achieving the course learning objectives.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in college level teaching is desirable.
• Experience with Quality Matters online course development.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience using D2L/Brightspace.
• Experience in dual credit classrooms is desirable.
