Job Description Summary:
To perform the day-to-day operations of the Business Computer Applications and/or Programming instructional programs. Primarily instruction of BCIS 1305 Business Computer Applications, where students will study computer terminology, hardware, and software related to the business environment. The instruction will focus on business productivity software applications and professional behavior in computing, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation graphics, and
business-oriented utilization of the Internet.
Essential Duties :
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other instructors, staff, administration and students.
Ability to instruct a class for students to achieve the course learning objectives and to use current technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Community college teaching experience desirable as well as experience using online learning systems as a supplement to face-to-face classes.
Online teaching experience preferred but not required.
Salary Range: per part-time faculty salary schedule
