Founded in 1947, the UC Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is revolutionizing medicine by connecting discovery and education to world-class care in neurological diseases. Our vision is to be the model organization that integrates neurologic clinical care, research and education.
UC?s Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is recruiting for a part-time (50% FTE) Visiting Scholar. Faculty at the University of Cincinnati are expected to teach, conduct research, scholarly and other professional or creative activities.
Essential Functions
- Conduct research visits according to current protocol.
- Shadow faculty during their clinic hours, screen and enroll interested study subjects.
- Participate in journal club, grand rounds and protocol staff meetings.
- Mentor undergraduate students who are volunteering with the research project.
Required Education
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
Required Experience
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research evidenced by peer reviews and publications. Candidates for a tenured appointment should demonstrate intellectual leadership and impact on the field and potential significant contributions to the department, University of Cincinnati, and wider scholarly community.
