Salary range: The salary range for this position is $76,700-$201,900. Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation depending on specialty can range from $76,700-$201,900. The posted UC Salary Scale set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment.

Position description
The University of California, Irvine (UCI), Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology, Department of Family Medicine, seeks a Project Scientist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full rank to support NIH-funded molecular, computational, and translational research focused on delirium and neuroinflammation. The Project Scientist will provide advanced expertise in epigenetic analysis, bioinformatics, and multimodal data integration to support studies bridging human biospecimens, neuroimaging, and clinical research.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
M.D., Ph.D. or equivalent in molecular biology, computational biology, neuroscience, bioinformatics, biomedical science, or a related field.
