Position Summary The Health Care Assistant is a key member of the patient care team and vital to MSU Health Care clinical operations. Under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals, the role performs a variety of clinical and administrative support tasks in the outpatient clinic. The Health Care Assistant provides support for physicians and other clinicians in the delivery of high-quality health care. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a medical office setting or in a clinical setting performing routine health assessment tests; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
