Morgan State University does not currently have a formal, centralized "Dual Career" or "Spousal Hire" program similar to those found at some larger R1 research institutions. Instead, support for dual-career partners typically occurs on a case-by-case basis during the faculty recruitment and negotiation process. Plans for a formal Dual Career program are underway.

• Tuition Waivers for Spouses: One of the primary formal benefits is the Tuition Waiver, which allows legally married spouses of full-time regular employees to receive tuition waivers with no credit limit after the employee has completed two years of service.
• Dual Employment Policy: The university has formal procedures for Dual Employment, which allows employees to hold a secondary position within the university or another state agency, provided schedules do not overlap and proper Certification Forms are filed.
• Human Resources, Academic Affairs: This specialized department manages faculty recruitment and onboarding. Prospective faculty members with dual-career needs are encouraged to discuss these concerns with HR-Academic Affairs or their respective Department Chair during the hiring phase.
