West Shore Community College (WSCC) seeks an individual who is able to thrive in a role that requires careful attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information with full confidentiality. The Human Resources Specialist performs professional-level human resources functions supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance reporting, employee records management, Title IX investigations, and payroll support. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this individual ensures accurate execution of HR processes and provides technical expertise in day-to-day HR operations. This position exercises independent judgment within established policies and procedures and serves as a key operational resource to employees and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment and manage onboarding processes, including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination and new hire orientation
- Maintain accurate employee records including processing status changes, annual reviews and separation documents
- Administer employee benefits and support payroll operations
- Support compliance and investigative functions, such as government reporting, FOIA coordination and serving as lead Title IX Investigator
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated experience in human resources operations, records management, or benefits administration

Compensation
Salary starting at or above $51,693, commensurate with skills/experience.
