Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the accounting receivables, cash handling, banking services, and the financial aid disbursement process of the college, LSC Bookstore, and LSC Café. This position manages incoming revenues for the college of approximately $35 million annually. This position ensures cash collected is properly safeguarded, and ensures compliance with federal, state and Minnesota state regulations. They are responsible for ensuring proper segregation of duties and cash handling controls are in place. This includes responsibility for completing internal financial control documentation for auxiliary units and revenue procedures, sales tax processing, as well as responding to audit requests regarding these areas. Incumbent is responsible for applying these policies in directing the daily accounts receivable and cash flow operations of the college and supervises employees engaged in these functions. The person in this position is responsible for ensuring internal control structure and responding to audit requests and responses for auxiliary and cashiering functions in the college.
