Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryAssists the Radiation Safety Officer in the management of the Washington University (WU) Radiation Safety Program. The Radiation Safety Program oversees the licensing and use of radioactive materials in approximately 800 research laboratories at WU; 4 cyclotrons, commercial radiopharmacy, and irradiators at WU Medical School (WUSM); and nuclear medicine services, radiation oncology services, and irradiator services at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJH) and St. Louis Childrenâ™s Hospital (SLCH). The Radiation Safety Program also oversees the registration and use of radiation producing equipment, non-ionizing laser radiation sources, and high-field magnets at WU facilities.This is a time-limited position o
