Summary of Position: | Under the general direction of Full-Time Service Center Representatives, assist in the operation of the My Bulldog Service Center; which includes but is not limited to the following key student focused operations: Dining Administration, Parking Services, My Bulldog ID Card, and Textbook/Course Material pick-up. The position acts as a co-supervisor of student employees. The position will require effective communication with students, parents, faculty/staff, visitors, vendors, etc. Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays. Must be flexible to perform other tasks within Campus Auxiliary Services as needed. | |

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: | Experience in the use of Banner, Adirondack, Transact, T2, and TruCredentials. | |
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: | Provide excellent customer service to patrons of the MyBulldog Service Center. Answer multi-line telephones, route calls, take messages, and respond to or refer inquiries. Maintain electronic and physical documentation of forms, documents, and processes related to the My Bulldog Service Center. Collect payments at a window, handle and process cash, and issue receipts. Process incoming and outgoing mail through the Service Center as needed. Assist with student correspondence via phone and email in relation to services provided by the Service Center. Create and print student/faculty/staff IDS and badges using TruCredentials and ID printers. Utilize the TruCredentials system. Use electronic databases to apply and track information regarding ID cards; such as charges, completed prints, automated reprints of IDs, etc. Utilize T2 parking software to enter permits, charges, information, etc. Other duties as assigned. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members. | |
Marginal Duties/Responsibilities: | Regularly order necessary forms through Ferris Print Services. Provide support to other service center staff. Assist with dining center reservations. Assist in online Course Material pick-up via Akademos Pickup Tool. | |
Skills and Abilities: | Proficiency with software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite for word processing, excel spreadsheets, collaboration, etc. Must be resourceful and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills. Provide effective communication and customer service with a diverse group of students, visitors, Faculty, and Staff. Operate a myriad of office equipment, including but not limited to: computers, copiers, calculators, POS system, etc. Perform basic mathematical operations with accuracy. Utilize proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and correct arrangement of information. Utilize the various software applications (such as: Transact, T2, Adirondack, etc.) to provide administrative support of student/faculty/staff accounts. Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. | |
