Research Assistant I Lab
The Liberles Lab at Harvard Medical School seeks a motivated assistant to support research efforts in sensory neuroscience. The lab's focus is on understanding the vagus nerve - a major communication axis between the brain and body that helps monitor the physiological state of internal organs. Through genetic and molecular approaches, they investigate how the vagus nerve regulate vitals functions like breathing, heart rate and digestion. The successful candidate will assist directly with research on the vagus nerve and airway physiology in mice, and will perform experiments with oversight from a postdoctoral fellow.
