Description:

Manages the daily operations of a customer service unit within Parking & Transportation to include but not limited to training and supervising staff. Ensures the smooth flow of information to the public and university community.

1. Supervises, trains, and evaluates customer service staff.

2. Schedules section activities and implements changes in procedures as needed.

3. Oversees contracts/outsourced customer service units.

4. Addresses and resolves more complex and difficult questions, complaints or problems.

5. Partners with other departments as needed to address customer service issues.

6. Complies and reviews period reports, conducts period customer satisfaction surveys and reviews the effectiveness of customer service within Parking & Transportation.

7. Identifies and implements customer service methods appropriate to Department and University needs.

8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MQ: Requires the ability and knowledge for analysis and interpretation of procedures, policies and practices attainable through specific education and/or training programs in a specialty or technical field. Advanced vocational or electronic skills or a basic knowledge of a professional field is required.

An Associate's degree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty program of over 18 months and up to 3 years duration are characteristic of this field.

Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
