Stanford University is one of the world's premier academic and research institutions, devoting tremendous intellectual and physical resources toward the betterment of humanity. As a major Silicon Valley employer, Stanford seeks people committed to excellence and to improving our world. In turn, the university is committed to supporting its employees as they develop their careers and enrich their lives. Stanford Live is the performing arts presenter for Stanford University. We bring artists from around the world to perform at our venues across the Stanford campus and beyond, serving both University and community audiences. Our performances range from classical, jazz, theater, and dance, to rock, pop, comedy, and spoken word. Our suite of iconic venues includes Bing Concert Hall, the Bing Studio, Memorial Auditorium, and the historic outdoor Frost Amphitheater.
Stanford Live commissions new work from some of the leading artists of our time. We are committed to ensuring that every Stanford student has the opportunity to meaningfully engage with the arts through artist residency programs, student performances, and curatorial opportunities, and a heavily-discounted student ticket price for each performance. We have an active K-12 program including matinee performances for local students and an in-school teaching artist program in partnership with the Ravenswood City School District.
