Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an accountant II, where you'll be at the heart of financial operations! In this exciting role, you'll oversee expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with union guidelines and meticulous auditing of invoices. You'll match these to purchase orders, manage approvals, and process payments through the Peoplesoft system. Your attention to detail will shine as you review work for accuracy, support both internal and external inquiries, and generate critical financial reports. Additionally, you'll drive weekly check and ACH runs, handle student refunds, and seamlessly enter invoices into the MMARS state system. Dive into a role where your precision and customer support skills will make a significant impact!
Hours: 8:30am-5pm, M-F, Saturday & Sunday off
Break: 12pm-1pm
Salary: $53,790.02 annually / $ 1,037.88 weekly

This is a hybrid position in Salem, MA which requires some on-site, in-person responsibilities.
Office activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and interaction with computer equipment; Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 20 pounds.
