Ohio University invites applicants for adjunct instructors to teach on the regional campuses (Chillicothe, Lancaster and Southern) in undergraduate courses for the Early and Middle Childhood program who can teach theory and practice courses, as well as support clinical instruction. Course delivery methods will include in-person at a regional campus, online synchronous (video conferencing), or other shared delivery methods. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach in-person (face-to-face) ECEE 3300 (Methods of Teaching Mathematics for Early Childhood and Elementary Education), ECEE 3801 (Play & Creativity in Early Childhood & Elementary School), and EDTE 2000 (Learning and Human Development), ECEE 2500 (Learning to Read: Theory and Practice), ECEE 3110 (Reading to Learn: Content and Practice), and ECEE 3120 (Using Reading Assessments to Inform Instruction).

Master's degree in Early or Middle Childhood Education or related field.

Additional qualifications, such as online teaching experience, may be required for specific courses.

At least three years of relevant and recent K to 9th grade classroom experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of theory and research-supported best practices for teaching and learning; Teaching license.

Standard rates for per credit compensation.
