Job DescriptionThe Library Technician provides assistance to library patrons and manages circulation and course reserves. Responsibilities include opening the library, maintaining the appearance of public spaces, responding to basic resource requests, assisting with contracts and purchase orders, and handling the circulation of materials.This position is shared between Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) and Inver Hills Community College (IHCC), with a 0.75 FTE (30 hours per week) allocation. This position will be primarily located at DCTC (80%), and will provide as needed coverage at IHCC (20%).DCTC and IHCC Library Hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm.Salary RangeWe would like to clarify that the correct salary range for the Library Technician position is $21.04 - $29.24/Hour and $43,932 - $61,053/Year.
