Responsible for numerous interactions with vendors regarding contracts and purchases; generation of technical purchase order requisitions for hardware/software; payroll; scheduling; maintaining records for contracts, purchases, and payroll; developing and composing correspondence, memos, and forms for work area; and providing office support for numerous areas of IT. Other key aspects of work at this level include a high degree of independence and latitude to prioritize work assignments.

High school diploma or GED.
Three years of qualifying experience or a combination of education and experience that equates to three years.
Experience with Microsoft Word.
Customer service experience.

Knowledge of specific software programs and/or mainframe/systems skills may be desired by the hiring department (i.e. Excel, Access, SAP).
Demonstrated ability to design/maintain web pages may be desired.

Compiling semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll records for staff and student employees for numerous cost centers.
Process invoices, purchase requisitions, travel vouchers, payroll, and facilities management work orders, bill appropriate cost centers/perform account transfers
Budget reconciliation.
Relay expenditure information to Assistant Director of Administrative Services.
Work with vendors to resolve billing problems, facilitate shipments, and pursue credits past due.
Travel/conference arrangements.
Answer telephones.
Process incoming mail.
Order office supplies.
Work with various departments on campus to resolve service, vendor, and/or billing issues.
Assist with committees and meetings as needed.
Work with IT Directors in support of their administrative requirements.
Prepare student and temporary personnel paperwork (Hire Form for Summer and for Academic Year, Wage Adjustment).
Perform specialized projects as assigned in support of department.
