The Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the area of accounting. The appointment will be made at the rank of associate professor (with tenure) to begin on July 1, 2023. The successful candidate will produce high-quality research in the area of accounting that results in publications in top journals in the field and teach in our undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs. 

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in accounting or related field and an established record of excellence in scholarly research and teaching. A strong commitment to undergraduate, master's and Ph.D. education as well as Ph.D. student mentoring is expected.

The application deadline is October 1, 2022, but applications will be accepted until the search is closed.  Applications must include (1) a cover letter, (2) a curriculum vitae, (3) three representative papers and (4) copies of recent teaching evaluations.
