Clinical Research Coordinator
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: The Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC I) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) will support the laboratories of Drs. Mark Eldaief, Randy Buckner, and Joan Camprodon for a new research project. This project involves studying the mechanisms underlying the efficacy of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS; a form of non-invasive brain stimulation) to treat depression. The project will use functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to precisely map brain networks in depressed patients. Each of these networks will be precisely stimulated with TMS, and the behavioral and functional effects of these stimulations will be measured with questionnaires and with fMRI imaging.
