The Center for Protein Degradation (CPD) is seeking a medicinal chemist to join the Chemistry Group. The individual will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to identify novel molecular glues and degraders applying their expertise in medicinal and synthetic chemistry

• PhD in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading medicinal chemistry projects is required
• Expertise in medicinal chemistry design; structure- and fragment-based drug design experience is preferred
• Knowledge of research methodologies and emerging technologies such as: HTS screening, small molecular hit-to-lead optimization, medicinal chemistry, structural biology, proteomics, target ID, ADME and PK/PD
• Skilled in use of chemistry lab equipment and experienced in relevant techniques ??? NMR, LCMS, HPLC, flash chromatography
• Management experience working with CROs preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Scientific drive, demonstrated by a proven track record of publications in peer reviewed journals
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative and team environment
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; strong attention to detail
