The Enrollment Services/Admissions Advisor will provide high quality, efficient, and integrated services and outreach efforts throughout the entirety of the student lifecycle. The Advisor will explain, deliver, and enforce a wide array of enrollment policies and related services in a manner characterized by strong customer service and a student centric approach. Additionally, the Advisor will engage in the recruitment and admissions advising of prospective students to Wright State University, and assist with marketing efforts

40% Student Enrollment Advising and Express Services:

Assist students and their families with Express Services (Admissions, Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registration). Services can be delivered face to face, via phone, email and in large and small group settings. Examples of enrollment advising, and services may include but are not limited to:

1. Registration activity for classes, and related functions.
2. Records release requests.
3. Processing administrative drops and notifying students of schedule modifications.
4. Seeking, obtaining, accepting, receiving, maintaining eligibility for, and returning loans, scholarships, and grants.
5. Meeting financial obligations to the University via available payment methods and strategies.
6. Providing Wright One card assistance, including card deposits, balance information, and utilizing the tools for creation of new and replacement cards.
7. Performing cashiering duties and balances cash drawer, processing payments both in person and via mail.
8. Learning to use and increasingly using self-service resources (such as WINGS Express, Schedule Planner, WINGS, WINGS Resource Center) and electronic forms, scanning to submit paper forms, and performing other self-service functions that reduce phone calls and foot traffic.
9. Requesting special review through appeals, petitions, escalations, or other processes.
10. Other services to be determined.

40% Recruiting:

Represent Wright State in the community, engage with prospective students, and coordinate recruitment activities or programs. Examples of Recruitment Activates include:

1. Provides on-campus tours and maintains a thorough knowledge of Lake Campus programs, information, facilities, and history.
2. Attends college fairs and other external events.

3. Organizes on-site events such as open houses, fairs, etc.

4. Facilitates connecting prospective students to faculty, other services, and offices to aid in decision-making and financial planning.
5. Works with Community Coordinator to promote housing at the Lake Campus.

10% Marketing Assistance:

Assists with the overall management of the comprehensive social media presence for the Lake Campus, and provides insight and examples based on observations in the recruitment field.

10% Other Duties as Assigned

Climate controlled office environment with high volume of customer service traffic. Requires some evening and occasional weekend hours.

Reliable transportation is required due travel. Driver's License required. Must meet University requirements to drive a university vehicle.
