Scope of PositionClinical Inpatient Generalist- EDResponsible for verifying new medication orders, checking prepared medications, overseeing dispensing from the pharmacy, and completing clinical patient review for safety and accuracy. Provides safe, efficient, high quality, patient-centered, and evidence-based medication services to all patients. In cooperation with other pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, acts as a resource and provides answers to drug information questions for patients and family members, pharmacists, nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, medical students, undergraduate and graduate pharmacy students, and other associated hospital personnel.
