Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Biomedical Technician for the Office of Operations at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.Responsible for designing, developing and providing safety testing, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment. Ensures that the biomedical equipment is on compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality.Among the key duties of this position are the following:Designs reviews for serviceability/reliability, service plan generation, service documentation and procedure development, defining service parts, outlining service training and tracking equipment performance.Acts as an escalation point for resolution of complex technical issues.
