| Teach and develop community education classes based in the instructor’s area of expertise to a diverse student population. Submit data on student attendance and progress as required. These courses will be offered during the day and evening. The responsibilities and duties of the instructor may change as the needs of the college arise.

Required Qualifications
BA degree in Education or relevant discipline. 1-2 years of teaching experience in the instructor’s area of expertise. Must have an ability to create an active learning environment and maintain a positive and energetic attitude. The candidate must be willing to take direction, be dependable, flexible, and punctual and show good judgment. Must be able to model appropriate teaching strategies.
Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values of compassion, fairness, respect, responsibility, tolerance and truth.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a community college and/or non-credit environment. Strong customer service skills. English-Spanish bilingual.
