Outreach Worker (JHSPH Wood Clinic ALIVE Study, Dept. of Epidemiology)
The ALIVE Study is seeking an Outreach Worker who will play a pivotal role in locating and retaining study participants. Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct outreach to service agencies and care facilities in effort to maintain contact with participants.Establish and maintain working relationships with local area clinic personnel (admissions coordinator, clinical services coordinator, emergency services coordinator) that interface with study staff and participants of this study.Conduct follow-up activities (phone calls, mailings, and in-person reminders) to ensure that participants return for follow-up visits.Conduct street outreach (visit participants’ residences, homeless shelters, free kitchens, and hangouts
