Job Description:
Ohio University. Ohio University. Established in 1804, Ohio University is an R1 institution and the oldest public university in the state of Ohio. Our total enrollment is over 28,000 students across the state and online. About 20,000 of those students are undergraduates studying at our residential campus in Athens, a quintessential college town. The campus is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains amidst scenic state and national parks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MA in WGSS or related field, and relevant teaching experience at the university level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ABD or PhD in WGSS or related field.
- Experience as an independent instructor (full instructional and gradebook responsibility) of a relevant course at the university level.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
