Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:
The incumbent will operate with a high degree of autonomy, independently managing priorities and workload to ensure timely follow-up and meet deadlines. Utilizing strong interpersonal skills, they will collaborate with patients, families, peers, and leadership to maintain professional relationships and facilitate problem resolution.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and engage others.

Strong interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy, political acumen.

Knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, CMS) and their impact on patient complaints and grievances.

Extensive (4+ years) experience in a healthcare setting.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and implement evidence-based interventions

Demonstrates a leadership style that builds and maintains a climate of trust and inspires commitment from others.

Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure that patient information is guarded and respected.

Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills.

Demonstrated computer skills and an ability and willingness to learn new applications and software, procedures, and processes.

Consistently interacts with all members of the organization in ways that enhance understanding, respect, cooperation and problem solving

Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing or other relevant field or an additional four years of experience in lieu of degree.

Ability to work efficiently and independently.

Ability to provide care appropriate to the demographic served.

Ability to navigate a facility with multiple providers and services.

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful or difficult situations

Ability to display active listening and verbalize empathy while developing relationships with patients, guests, and coworkers.

Ability to communicate with patients in a confidential, professional manner using tact and diplomacy.

Ability to be highly motivated and pay attention to detail with a passion to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to assimilate data from various sources.

Ability to assess data regarding the patient's status and provide care, as detailed in the department's policies and procedures manual.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree
