Position Overview

The Ohio State University College of Nursing invites applicants for a part-time faculty appointment for candidates with advanced practice specialization as a family nurse practitioner. We are seeking faculty committed to excellence in teaching, practice, and service. This is a 12-month associated track faculty position.

Appointment and rank will be based on qualifications and experience of the candidate. Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for APRN and Masters Education, this faculty will be joining a dynamic team of FNP faculty and will be responsible for teaching didactic courses and clinical supervision in the family nurse practitioner advanced practice specialty track in the Masters and DNP Program.

Performance Objectives

• Effectively work with students, faculty, and preceptors
• Deliver evidenced-based curriculum to students that meets national standards
• Successfully participate in a team teaching environment

Education and Experience Requirements

Required: Master's degree in nursing; national certification as an FNP, at least two years of practice as an FNP and current Ohio advanced practice nursing license (or license eligible)

Desired: Doctoral degree or current enrollment in doctoral program, two years of recent teaching experience in a graduate nursing program
