Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Plant, incumbent performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled tasks in the maintenance, alteration and repair of utilities, buildings, and related facilities and equipment, including but not limited to: basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural work. The specific duties of the position vary depending on work assignments

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of NEC, NFPA, AQMD, OSHA, and JCAHO standards

Position is subject to the California DMV's 'Pull Notice System' and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.

Must work overtime or alternate shifts as required to meet hospital needs

Current State of California Driver's License

Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings and manufacturers technical manuals
