Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Senior Director of University Events is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for all major University events, aligning with institutional goals and priorities.
• This role involves developing and executing comprehensive event plans, managing high-profile events, and collaborating with University leadership, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to achieve desired results.
• The Senior Director supervises and mentors the events team, oversees event budgets, and ensures compliance with University policies.
• This position may require occasional evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
• The Senior Director of Events will work in a collaborative office environment and may also spend time on-site at events.

Minimum Experience / Education:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in event management, with at least three years in a leadership role, preferably in a higher education setting.
