The Research Fellow will work closely with Dr. Tom Ihde, who will supervise the overall project. Throughout the project, the Research Fellow (along with Ihde and a professional facilitator) will work in close partnership with a wide range of fishery stakeholders (commercial, recreational, NGO, fishery managers, and others) to model preferred management strategies identified by stakeholders for individual jurisdictions of the Chesapeake Bay. The Research Fellow will also mentor and train a graduate student on a daily basis. The Researcher will be expected to present their findings at regional professional conferences and to publish the results of their research in peer-reviewed scientific journals. As time and interest permits, there will be opportunities for the Research Fellow to contribute to other PEARL projects, including work in the Atlantis modeling environment.
