The Postdoctoral Scholar will join the laboratory of Dr. Kwangwoon Lee to support and lead research initiatives in protein design and functional genomics. The role involves conducting experiments in protein engineering, molecular biology, biochemistry, and next-generation sequencing (NGS). The ideal candidate will have experience with computational tools for protein modeling and designsuch as AlphaFold and a strong background in molecular and cellular biology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate laboratory records and electronic data files, as well as compiling and presenting experimental results in the form of figures, tables, and written reports using appropriate software tools. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the preparation of scientific manuscripts and grant proposals, mentoring junior lab members, and promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and respect within the lab environment.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in relevant biological science (e.g., Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, or Biophysics). Demonstrated experience in molecular biology and epigenetics research.

Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in biochemical techniques and data analysis tools is strongly preferred. Background in computational biology and experience with multi-omics data analysis.
