Bioinformatics Analyst
Major job functions for this position include the following.1) Analyze genomic datasets - 65%⢠Processing of sequence data from Illumina, Pacific Biosciences, and Oxford Nanopore instruments, ⢠Investigating data quality issues⢠Analysis of single-cell and spatial datasets⢠Meet with customers to assist with experimental design, troubleshooting, and results interpretation2) Assist the Development and Research groups with improving services, developing new services, analysis and interpretation of research project datasets - 20%⢠Analyze datasets to assist with optimizing laboratory methods.⢠Serve as the primary bioinformatics resource for the Genomics Center's Innovation Lab 3) Assist with the maintenance and development of the Genomics
