The Principal Engineer develops and leads machine learning / artificial intelligence research and development efforts for the Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence (CDME); coordinates and conducts various sponsored research and industry projects; collaborates with research and industry partners to ensure projects are completed in accordance with project milestones, deliverable requirements and within the cost and schedule agreed upon during project scoping; works with OSU faculty and other CDME staff to coordinate multidisciplinary fundamental and applied research; utilizes expertise and leadership in determining technical solutions for complex problems; serves as a liaison with sponsoring agencies and other research and educational institutes; prepares technical reports for su
