Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

The Principle Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of general and diagnostic radiologic procedures (x-ray's) and Mammography screening and diagnostic procedures of the breast. Develops and evaluates x-ray's and mammogram images for high quality radiographs and performs a variety of tasks including QA/QC. Acts as a technical resource for the department.

Required Qualifications:

• Rad Tech Fluoroscopy Permit
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must meet MQSA Technologist Requirements
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Minimum of 1 years' of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent planning, organization and time management skills
• CRT in both Radiologic and Mammography
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• ARRT in both Radiologic and Mammography

Preferred Qualifications:

• Venipuncture Certification
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• DEXA Experience
• Advanced certifications and licensures in other imaging modalities

Licenses and Certifications:

• RTFP
• CRT
• BLS
• ARRT
