CLINICAL CARE COORDINATOR: University Hospital (Wound/Ostomy Services)
Responsibilities of the position:Serves as a clinical resource and consultant to patients, families, nursing and medical staff specializing in wound and ostomy care, and pressure ulcer prevention for both pediatric and adult populations.-Works collaboratively with patients, families, medical staff and bedside nursing in developing and implementing recommendations for the nursing care of patients with ostomies, vascular wounds, diabetic ulcers, acute and chronic pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, dermal wounds, fistulas and breakdown due to urinary and fecal incontinence in both inpatient and outpatient areas.-Development of patient/family/nursing teaching materials for management of wound, ostomy care, and pressure ulcer prevention.-Participates in the development
