REGISTERED NURSE: University Hospital (Medical Short Stay Unit)
This is a "multiple fill" job opening: A total of two (2) (0.9 FTE), Registered Nurses will be hired to fill this job opening.Provide care for a variety of adult medicine patients requiring acute nursing care for 8-72 hours stays.Included among the patient populations serviced by these units are post-procedural patients and patients who originate from the Emergency Department and will require close observation, assessment and teaching. In addition care is provided to palliative care patients that are housed on this unit.Patients may have arrhythmias necessitating a proficiency in cardiac assessment and monitoring or a willingness to learn about them.
