Job Description Summary
The division of Epidemiology is seeking a full-time research coordinator to assist with epidemiologic and clinical studies of breast cancer prevention and
screening.

The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the design, conduct, analysis, and writing of epidemiologic research studies. The research coordinator will manage IRB submissions and communications, perform data management, data cleaning, and data analysis, assist with patient recruitment and informed consent, and asssist with creation of presentations and abstracts.

Additionally the research coordinator will assist with research administrative tasks such as managing communications with collaborators, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and assisting with submissions of manuscripts and grants.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection, data management, data cleaning, and basic descriptive data analysis
• Draft and submit IRB documents
• Assist with the preparation of presentations, posters, manuscripts, grant applications, and progress reports
• Coordinate research study meetings among collaborators, including scheduling, preparation of agendas and documents, prepare and distribute minutes of meetings when applicable.
• Perform literature searches using PubMed and other search engines and prepare literature summaries
• Assist with patient recruitment and informed consent
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Training in epidemiology and/or biostatistics strongly preferred.

This position is contingent upon grant funding.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
