This position will coordinate career training and workforce development opportunities for individuals and business and industry partners in the region and at a distance. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Continuing & Professional Development in the Division of Academic Affairs.

Duties as assigned:

• Coordinates programs in Career and Workforce Development and other assigned areas.
• Works with internal and external partners to identify training needs.
• Works with internal and external partners to prepare agreements to deliver training.
• Collaborates with content experts on the development of training content to meet the needs of business/industry and the community.
• Identifies and assists with grant application through the KY Economic Development Department and others.
• Coordinates, supervises, and assists in the evaluation of trainers.
• Assist the Director in the development of marketing plans and strategic recruitment for career and workforce programs.
• Works with the Director to build and maintain relationships with regional external partners including Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Authorities, non-profit organizations, and Workforce Investment entities; attending the meets of these groups as appropriate (i.e. SHRM, HR Councils, and Chambers of Commerce events).
• Assist the Continuing and Professional Development department with customer service request, and event management, when requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum two years of experience in non-credit programming or training with external partners that might include education institutions, associations, businesses, and industries.

Salary Range:  $39,100 - $47,664
