Job Description Summary
The Project Coordinator for the Alliance for Genetic Counseling Fellowship (AGCF) will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing communications, monthly committee meetings, and outreach initiatives to increase visibility and foster positive awareness of the AGCF program. This role will also provide administrative support to the five alliance programs, including coordinating the summer internship, organizing bi-annual in-person retreats, tracking and reporting grant objectives (such as outreach events and scholar publications), updating the AGCF website, and assisting the Principal Investigator and Grants Management Office with the annual report submission.

Job Description

The Alliance For Genetic Counseling Fellowship AGCF)Project Coordinator will plan, design, implement, and manage communications, monthly seminars, and outreach activities to elevate the visibility and build positive awareness of the AGCF Program. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for promoting the AGCF scholarship and educational initiatives by producing various communications content, including marketing and promotional materials and publications. The AGCF Project Coordinator will develop and maintain the AGCF website content by proactively working with the faculty, students, and staff from the AGCF programs on developing, writing, and designing content. The Project Coordinator will coordinate a comprehensive social media strategy for the AGCF project, working closely with the AGCF Program Director. A communications calendar will be created and maintained to identify events or other opportunities. The Project Coordinator will coordinate the development and dissemination of a regular AGCF e-newsletter

Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Expertise in various software applications; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Attention to detail; Ability to work independently, problem-solve and analyze data; Ability to interpret and implement

policies and procedures.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
