This position is located in Ashtabula County in Jefferson, Ohio.

Ohio State University Extension (OSUE) seeks a Program Assistant to work programmatically with county staff and volunteers to plan, conduct, and teach programs in Ashtabula County. The Program Assistant will support the 4-H Youth Development and Agriculture and Natural Resource (ANR) programs by assisting with specific educational programs relating to STEM, youth agricultural programs, youth training programs, 4-H school enrichment programs, 4-H project evaluation events, camp, and participate with county committees. Additionally, the Program Assistant will provide support to 4-H and ANR related county level events and opportunities including training/meetings. The Program Assistant will work with partner agencies to schedule events and activities and assist with other 4-H and Agriculture and Natural Resource information.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this profile is $16.49 - $21.69/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, units available budget, and the candidates qualifications.
