The Division of Cardiology at The Heart Institute, Stony Brook University Hospital, seeks a full-time academic Heart Failure/VAD cardiologist (Assistant or Associate or Full Professor levels) to serve a population of 1.5 million people at Suffolk County?s largest academic hospital.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and kind physician who enjoys seeing patients and is committed to contributing to the growth and long-term goals of the Heart Institute. MD, DO or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible/board certified in Cardiovascular disease and/or Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Expertise in heart failure and ventricular assist device management. Experience in clinical, translational or basic research.
