Position Overview

The Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University invites applications for a Lecturer (non-tenure track) to join our team for the 2025 Summer Semester. This is an associated faculty position, one semester appointment with the potential for renewal. This will be to teach one section of PHILOS 1332-10, Engineering Ethics, during the second 6-week summer session, which will meet from June 16th through July 25th, 2025.

Performance Objectives

The successful candidates will teach undergraduate courses in the area of Philosophy as assigned; hold office hours; grade assignments and submit grades; may participate in curriculum development and course coordination.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required: Master's degree or equivalent . Classroom teaching experience is required.
