Registration Coordinator-1
Registration Coordinator will triage in-person patient encounters and patient secure-messaging detailing visual and ocular complaints, and ocular emergencies; make independent decisions regarding scheduling appointments in the appropriate clinic service. Will provide patient services for appointment check-ins and check-outs. Will be responsible for assisting patient's arrivals, answering phones, scheduling appointments, arranging and verifying insurance coverage. Understand HIPAA policy and present HIPAA information to patients. Will provide patient check-out services by re-verifying insurance, processing patient billing and coding sheets for accurate optometric procedures and diagnostic codes; collect exam fees and co-pays along with eyewear purchases.
