Director for Student Success & Academic Excellence
The Director for Student Success and Academic Excellence is a full-time, twelve-month management position in the Division of Academic Affairs reporting to the Associate Provost for Student Success and Academic Excellence. The Director is responsible for several major divisional initiatives related to student retention, persistence, and graduation as well as the university's early alert system. The Director is responsible for establishing a departmental atmosphere open to meeting the reasonable expectations of students, faculty, and staff and ensuring high-quality services. The Director supervises four coordinators, a management technician, and one graduate assistant as well as sharing supervisory responsibility for an administrative assistant.
