Job Description:
Falk College seeks a part-time instructor to teach SWK 628 Sec. M001- Human Diversity in Social Contexts (3 credits) in Spring 2025 semester (1/6/2025-5/11/2025). Course description: Diversity, including race, gender, sexual orientation, and selected topics. Examines individual, group, and institutional identity formation. Theories of biopsychosocial development, reference group affiliation, social stratification, oppression, and institutional discrimination. Implications for social work practice. Class meets: (in-person) Thursday 6:30 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.
Qualifications:
An MSW with previous graduate-level social work teaching experience preferred. Candidate must have 2 years post-masters experience.

Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments.
Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course.

Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner.
Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations.
Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments.
