Job Description Summary
The Project Manager will be the driving force behind highly complex translational research projects and collaborations within the Penn Colton Center for Autoimmunity, which operates under the Institute for Immunology & Immune Health (I3H), as well as the broader Colton Consortium for Autoimmunity. Reporting to the Director for Strategy and Business Development, this position will be instrumental in overseeing and implementing the Colton Moonshot Research program, a complex, global research program that aims to generate the largest database of autoimmune patient immune profiles (10,000+ patients) to date.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include leading meetings with the key program stakeholders; managing the scientific, clinical, operational, and logistical components of this program; delivering transparent, timely and concise verbal and written communication during regular status updates and technical reports; proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders; and leading development and delivery of tactical and achievable mitigation and contingency planning.

Qualifications

Bachelors and 5-7 years experience, preferably in scientific project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience .

• Experience with multi-site, large-scale research projects or clinical trials that have resulted in successful product delivery or regulatory outcomes
  
• Ability to interact professionally with key internal investigators, as well as external academic, government, non-profit, and private sector organizations
  
• Ability to work with all levels within the organization from senior management to technicians
  
• Ability to work independently and to perform well under pressure and embrace dynamic environment.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
  
• Excellence in strategic planning and program development
  
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing teams

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
