Administrative Coordinator - Office of Campus Planning and Facilities

POSITION DETAILS

The Administrative Coordinator will serve as the HR Liaison for the Office of Campus Planning and Facilities and will play a pivotal role in managing administrative tasks critical to maintaining operational efficiency.

This includes but is not limited to the following:

• Acts as a primary point of contact for HR related inquiries within the department
• Acts as a primary point of contact with Compliance and Diversity on search related matters
• Performs all administrative tasks for hiring, onboarding and offboarding employees
• Maintains and manages the prioritization of vacancies based on departmental needs and resources
• Coordinates and communicates updates on active list requirements for Civil Service titles
• Assists with time and leave inquiries within the Department and consult with HR to verify leave accrual and balances
• Assists with time and leave inquiries within the Department and consult with the Time-keepers in HR to verify leave accruals and balances
• Consults with benefits manager regarding any leave of absences or pending separations of employees, specifically keep tracks of duration of leave of absence
• In collaboration with the Office of Human Resources, coordinates opportunities for staff training and development
• Provides weekly completion and submission of punch detail reports and overtime sheets

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree required.

• Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities.
• Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
• Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
• May supervise office staff and student workers.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary Range: $60,394 - $70,541. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
