Responsibilities
Performs human induced pluripotent stem cell experiment coordination and execution (80%): 
Responsible for performing maintenance of human induced pluripotent stem cells and differentiation to cardiomyocytes. Executes experimental protocols to support the research project including developing novel protocols/techniques, prepare samples in accordance with laboratory protocols. Records observations and evaluates tests for accuracy, analyzes data, interprets results, and shares findings with PI and other members of the laboratory staff. May supervise trainees. 

Laboratory Operations (10%)
Participate collaboratively in the ongoing operations of the laboratory, which may include ordering supplies, and monitoring inventory.

Required Qualifications
⢠Bachelorâ™s degree in a biological or related biomedical field and at least 4 years of relevant experience, OR a combination of education and relevant working experience to equal at least eight years
⢠Exceptional attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications
⢠Experience with culture and differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cell cardiomyocytes
⢠Experience with molecular biology techniques including western blots, ELISA, RNA isolation, and immunofluorescence/IHC.
